2027 executive board nominations are now open!

Have you been looking for a way to become more involved in Florida’s 9-1-1 community and make a meaningful difference? Running for a Florida NENA office could be your opportunity!

Florida NENA has made tremendous strides in supporting and advancing Florida’s 9-1-1 community. Continuing that momentum will require dedicated members who are ready to share their ideas, lend their talents, and help lead our association into the future. Serving on the Board is a rewarding opportunity to strengthen our profession, build lasting connections, and have some fun along the way.

Nominations are now open for the following positions:

  • Second Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Area Vice President—North Region
  • Area Vice President—West Region
  • Area Vice President—Central Region
  • Area Vice President—South Regio

Nominations will remain open through October 20, 2026. Nomination and qualifications forms are available at the links listed below. All voting will be conducted electronically.

Candidates for Second Vice President must hold the Emergency Number Professional (ENP) certification and maintain it throughout their service on the Board.

The Next Generation of 9-1-1 is here, and NENA is the voice of the 9-1-1 profession. Your experience, perspective, and ideas matter. Florida NENA already has an outstanding team, and strong, engaged leaders will help us build on the progress we have made and continue moving Florida’s 9-1-1 community forward.
