Florida NENA Non-Discrimination Policy

i.     Policy: The Florida Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association (FL NENA) relies on its membership to advance the initiatives of the Chapter.  It is the policy of FL NENA that it does not discriminate in the terms, conditions and privileges of membership on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.

ii     Purpose: FL NENA is committed to maintaining an organization with an environment of equality and inclusiveness for its members. 

iii.   Procedure:  FL NENA does not and shall not discriminate based on race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, membership status, selection of committees, volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our organization, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
